Sales Intelligence – what on earth does that mean?

A recent Forrester Report on B2B Marketing Data Providers and a host of new entrants crashing the London-focused sales platform party from overseas – SalesLoft for example – demonstrate that the meaning of the increasingly coveted commodity ‘sales intelligence’, is being truly tested to the limit.

Of course we each have a view of what the word intelligence means. At its purest, it’s got to be about the ability to acquire and apply knowledge, but I think reasoning, speed of learning, originality and also foresight play a role.

So where does Pearlfinders’ version of sales intelligence fit in, and how can we start to remove any confusion on what is being offered and what is, in fact, actually being delivered.
