Blossom Careers is a highly effective recruitment and training consultancy that specialises in business development staff for marketing and communications agencies. It was set up to solve a universal problem: ‘Where can I find a reliable source of properly trained, well-motivated, bright and loyal new business people?’

Using best practice leader Rainmaker Consulting’s new business training programme, we first help you develop the most effective internal new business discipline, then recruit and train the perfect personnel for you to develop your particular best-practice new business platform.

Your new recruit spends one to three months on-the-job training at our offices, being taught to be an outstanding and intelligent prospector in all areas, but critically, specifically trained for the needs of your business. We liaise with the key individuals in your agency to ensure the recruit is correctly inducted and familiar with every facet of your proposition needed to be effective. As part of their intensive training they will be securing you new business opportunities. Simultaneously, with the help of Rainmaker, we’ll review your sales and marketing tools to ensure your new business discipline and mechanisms are optimised. Any new or refined tools, including the prospect database we’ll build for you, will be handed over to you as essential equipment for your new person to use. After that, we continue to provide ongoing surgery, meeting with them and with you to appraise progress and ensure they develop as fast as possible to deliver you results.
