BRIEF

Rainmaker started working with CheckoutSmart in 2013 with the objective of raising awareness of the company’s new proposition for brands.  CheckoutSmart wanted Rainmaker to look objectively at the company’s proposition, compare it to its leading competitors and advise the company how it would best approach marketing decision-makers at the biggest FMCG brands.

SOLUTION

During the initial planning workshops Rainmaker established a value proposition for CheckoutSmart focused on its direct access to customer data via its App. We knew that FMCG brands would be excited by CheckoutSmart’s ability to offer retail promotions directly to customers and without needing to involve the retailer. Rainmaker initially launched CheckoutSmart to the FMCG decision-makers via a combination of emails, social activity and follow-up calls.

 RESULTS

Nearly three years into our relationship and having delivered an average of four quality meeting opportunities each month, the business has submitted proposals worth over £500,000 in fee revenue and the current ROI is 7:1 on its spend to date with Rainmaker.
